How do you want the quarterback situation to workout through the years, with:

Ryan Williams being a senior.
Kevin Olsen (Baby Jesus) being a Redshirt Freshman.
Brad Kaaya coming in.
Malik Rosier also coming in.

Rosier is the next Gray Crow, sorry

Kaaya vs. Baby Jesus will be a fun one to watch for the next 4 years

Ryan Williams starts 2014.
Olsen backs up 2014, gets #1 reps going into 2015 as RS SO.
Kaaya RS 2014, competes for starting spot in 2015.
Rosier RS 2014, likely eventually gets passed on depth chart by another blue chip from 2015 class.

Predicting who wins what job in 2015 or beyond is impossible considering none aside from Williams and Crow have taken a snap in a college football game.

How do we want or what do we expect? I think most believe Ryan Williams will be the starter and will remain that way unless he is injured or a total flop. The Olsen/Kaaya battle will be very interesting from the beginning and it would not surprise me to see one transfer if the other one is the clear cut starter for 2015. I would love to see Kaaya redshirt this year and win the starting job the following year.

This is a more clear way of what I was trying to say.

i want the best quarterback to emerge and win the job and lead us to a **** championship. could care less which of our current or incoming qbs it ends up being?

I'd like for Baby Jesus to beat out Williams this year, but i don't think it happens. Redshirt kaaya.. baby jesus v kaaya for next year's battle. May the best man win.

I want someone to step up and take the job and lead this team. I have a feeling it's going to be Kaaya. Wish he could have made it in for spring. Most likely he will have to sit a yr. I'm not sold on Williams but would love to be wrong about him. Here is what I see happening:

- Williams wins job in spring. Close battle but being he is a senior I think he gets the nod.
- Olsen, somewhere around game 3 takes over the reigns from an ineffective Ryan Williams.
- Olsen shows flashes of good and bad but the staff doesn't want him to regress so they stick with him.
- 2015, in come Mr. Kaaya and we finally have a QB leading this team for the first time really since Dorsey.
This is how I see it playing out.... Whoever is the QB this yr, I see us relying more on the run game and slowing down the tempo IMO.

So you have never actually seen Olsen or Kaaya play a live snap in a college football game, but this is how you see it playing out? Why are most of us so down on Olsen? He redshirted last year, and the kid has talent and a good pedigree. I haven't lost faith in the kid.

stop calling the kid baby jesus.

its ****ing retarded

I'm annoyed by that as well... You'll think our fanbase would learn about hyping up players by now. This "baby Jesus" mantra is ridiculous...

Dude relax! I just think it's a little funny. Nobody is hyping anything up, it's just a little more inspiring than most of the people moping around on here.

Baby jesus is just stupid. It started as a tebow like thing. Sounds desperate and stupid to me..

I could be wrong. I could care less if I'm wrong as long as someone steps up and leads. I'm basing my prediction off Olsens supposed lack of maturity figuring he will do something to **** off the staff.

why did we even offer gray crow when he only threw for 300 yards his senior season... Oh yeah he did well at Golden camp or some ishh.. smh...

The biggest problem with the culture at Miami under Radio was there was zero work ethic. Did it occur to you that Crow works his *** off and maybe he was brought in to instill work ethic into the QB's and rest of the team? It is complicated for simpletons to grasp.

Not every player on the depth chart is going to be a first round draft pick. Role players do help mold championship teams into championship teams.

I doubt they brought the kid in to be a role player... They thought he had potential but it hasn't translated into anything as of now... And lets stop using bringing up RS for any excuses... There are a lot of hard workers who don't have the talent... You're stating the staff knew Crow wouldn't accomplish much but brought him in for work ethic... No coach does that especially when there are guys on the team who works hard...

That being said, give the kid sometime... I'm a fan of his but I doubt the staff brought him in for the reason you stated above...
