I'm sure we'll kick the tires on some QB's throughout 2019, but assuming we don't sign any let's look forward. An early look at 247 offer list doesn't really indicate we've cast a wide net as some would like. Surely the net will widen now that MJJR has committed to a school of kid diddlers. Obviously having 2 of our 5 targets committed elsewhere is concerning. Especially since pulling both Max Johnson and Harrison Bailey from the state of Georgia is extremely unlikley imo. Feel free to add targets i've missed, updates on individual recruiting, or your disdain for Richt JR. lol. Anyone who's delved into their films let's see some scouting reports.

Obviously there is a scenario where all our QB's stay put and we only sign Max Johnson which would be best case scenario imo.

Offered QB's

Max Johson 4* GA 6'3.5" 214 lbs
#2 PRO QB
Max Johnson, Oconee County, Pro-Style Quarterback

Harrison Bailey 4* GA 6'5" 228lbs
#4 PRO QB
Harrison Bailey, Marietta, Pro-Style Quarterback

Drew Pyne 4* QB CT 6'1" 172 lbs
#7 Pro QB (CURRENTLY COMMITTED TO NOTRE DAME)
Drew Pyne, New Canaan, Pro-Style Quarterback

Greg Spann 0* St. Pete FL 6'2.5" 179 lbs
Unranked
Gregory Spann, Lakewood, Pro-Style Quarterback

Luke Doty 4* SC 6'2" 190lbs
#6 Dual Rank QB (CURRENTLY COMMITTED TO USCe)
Luke Doty, Myrtle Beach , Dual-Threat Quarterback

Unoffered FL QB's
Carson Beck, Providence, Pro-Style Quarterback 4* committed to Bama
Anthony Richardson, Eastside, Dual-Threat Quarterback 3* committed to UF
Devon Lingle, Duncan U. Fletcher, Pro-Style Quarterback 3* uncommitted
Garrett Greene, Lawton Chiles, Dual-Threat Quarterback 3* uncommitted

Why does it not surprise me you're the guy trying to fast forward past this recruiting failure that is missing on MJJr.

If I cared enough I'd pull up some of your past posts about the QB recruiting. But I wish we would have landed MJJr so I'm not getting any joy out of how this played out.

But It's still 2019 man, hold your L until at least the early signing period.

Why don't you pull up the post from last fall when i literally called the exact scenario that played out. I said we were MJJ or bust, but someone on this board had everyone up in their feelings about another QB.

Anyway, this thread is not about 2019.

So if we decide to skip the QB in the 19 cycle, we are clearly saying we recruit two in 2020.

Drew Pyne’s family:

- George IV, father, former CEO of NASCAR
- Jim, uncle, played in NFL for 8 years
- George III, grandfather, played for Boston Patriots (AFL)
- George II, great grandfather, played for Providence Steamrollers (NFL predecessor)
- Paul Harney, maternal grandfather, 6x PGA wins, T5th Masters, 4th US Open, T7th PGA Championship

**** - that's some lineage there.

Anthony Richardsons father was on a hurricanes facebook page saying his son is hoping for Miami offer
