Per On3:
After speaking with a source close to the situation, it sounds like Jaden Rashada will not be announcing his commitment this Saturday as initially planned.
Gators Online is told the 2023 quarterback is pushing back his commitment to Sunday, June 26. This is something On3’s Chad Simmons has been hinting at all week.

“There continues to be chatter that communication between Jaden Rashada and Miami is ongoing as of Wednesday,” Simmons said last night. “The talk of a possible short delay of his commitment announcement continues to linger as well on Wednesday evening. The plan has been for Rashada to commit on Saturday June 18.”
Hoya for the win.Top247 quarterback Jaden Rashada pushed his commitment date back, per Swamp247’s Blake Alderman. Rumblings of this decision came on our radar on Thursday morning and InsideTheU learned that Miami could play a part in that decision.
While sources don’t expect Rashada, the nation’s No. 5 signal-caller per 247Sports, in Coral Gables this weekend, we’re not ruling out the possibility of the rising senior using that fifth and final official visit to see Miami again at some point before a decision gets made, which Alderman suggests could come as soon as June 26. That means one of the nation's most coveted arms could potentially make his way down as soon as next week.
Sources have indicated that the Hurricanes are making a final push for the triggerman who at one point felt like a soft Miami lean following an unofficial visit. Name, Imagine, and Likeness may play a factor in this recruitment and businesses supportive of Hurricanes athletics have been at the forefront of this movement since its inception.

He has consistently mentioned wanting to feel comfortable living at the place he chooses. I think he really likes Coral Gables and is struggling with the idea of living in Gainesville or College Station, but the money involved is probably too much to turn down.I don’t think the kid wants to go to UiF. Those officials were a whirlwind and weird.
That commitment video hes gonna film at Legends Camp with Dorsey, Dre, Bobby and Jalen gonna be lit.Maybe an ov FOR LEGENDS WEEKEND?????????....... hMMMM THAT WOULD BE GREAT
After going through all the hassle he went through with the flights to visit them now he takes a direct flight and 10 minute drive to campus.I don’t think the kid wants to go to UiF. Those officials were a whirlwind and weird.

Even if he does not end up at Miami the meltdown and Gators Tears that would come from him pushing back his commitment date should be gloriousPer On3:
