As a junior Johnson threw for 2,550 yards and 20 touchdowns to just six interceptions with another 1,080 yards rushing and 22 scores in leading his team to its first-ever state title game in program history.

On the hardwood he’s a double-digit scorer that plays above the rim and on the baseball diamond he’s hitting over .400 as a junior.

Three sport quarterbacks are always intriguing to me. For him to be averaging 10 ppg+ (remember HS games are 32 minutes) and over .400 on the baseball field means his training time has taken time away from his football training.

He could have a higher ceiling than usual as a result of the split training.
