QB 1, 2 etc

Seems like they favor Williams over Perry. I myself think we should keep an eye on Weldon. Doesnt have the ceiling of Williams or Perry but his floor is alot higher. He looks like a better Rosier to me, which I think will have us knocking on the playoffs door next year.

It makes sense. Rosier has seen game speed against top programs. Perry is probably jittery and Williams is purely acting on instinct.

Hopefully we are beating a Pitt or GA Tech or other ACC foe good enough at half where we can get these guys some playing time in live action.

How does Weldon have a higher floor than Williams? You being serious?

Jarren's consistency is probably his best asset. He might not have the ceiling of a Justin Fields, but he has a very high floor

Agreed. Weldon can and probably will go to another power 5 school (Purdue as an example) and get some Playing time. Doubt it with us tho.

Basically confirms what we all saw. Jarren is the future.

Interesting on Battle as well. Aren’t there a couple other recruits this may help us with?

I knw it is a very limited sample size bc Weldon was out almost all of spring but did you see what he did in the last scrimmage? And thats after missing almost every practice.

Another year with Rosier

Rosier consistency and production will determine the playing time and development of our backup QBs. Too many close games last year at half: Toledo, NC, FSU, GT, UVA, VT, Duke, and Pittsburgh which caused offense backups to get any game experience. We have too much skills on offense to be handcuffed by qb limitations. I rather see coaching staff go after proven JUCO qb and another young qb for 2019 class. Perry Weldon and Williams must have urgency to compete and not given the job by just understanding the playbook. Rosier didn’t win 10 games last year! The defense won 6 games which bailed out poor qb play.
