Predictions for Duke Johnson Jr. (2014)

It's funny, when I think through upcoming games, I always have a hard time imagining any team holding him under 100 in the first half. I know it's been done, and I suppose it's unlikely that he has 100 at the half in every single game, but it seems like so often he'll have something like 8 carries for 90 yards and I'm thinking "man, we've only played a quarter. He might get 250."

It seem that injuries and carries are the x-factors with Duke. If he gets the touches, he's gonna get his. And by his, I mean I don't see anyone holding him under 100. Easy.

Lofty expectations, perhaps. But that's how good he is.

JUST. STAY. HEALTHY.

If he's fully healthy for the whole year I'd say....

1600yds rushing
300yrd receiving
13 TDS

I'd say about 1300 yds rushing and 300 receiving, 14 tds. Would be higher, but I think Yearby and Gus will be getting a lot of carries later in games that we have comfortable lead, to preserve Duke for when he's really needed. He may end up only getting a handful of carries each against FAMU and Arky State....along with the fact that defenses will be keying on him all year unless Kaaya shows some serious command of the offense early in the season.

if healthy 2300 all purpose yards. i think Kaaya will check down a lot & we'll see a big jump in his production in receiving yards. He'll make it to NYC for the Heisman & his chances of winning will have to do with our chances of winning the ACC

Staying healthy is the only thing keeping him back. When he's healthy, I put him right up there with the James', Bratton's, Gore's and McGahee's we've had. Not up with OJ Anderson, the best RB I've ever seen us have.

Duke is a big time back and has given us fans something to smile about ever since his arrival at BC. Yet Duke needs some things to happen in order to have a big time season.

1. He needs to stay healthy.

2. He needs Kaaya to make plays when defenses load up the box and there is no doubt that they will. Plenty of 1 on 1 match ups for him to make things easy on Duke.

3. If #2 doesn't pan out like it has to. He will need our OL to block unlike we have seen before.

According to my NCAA 14 season with updated rosters, he's going for 2400 rushing yards, 38 TDs, and 500 receiving yards. Hes going to win every single offensive award possible as well.

I think he'll have even a bigger year than previously expected considering that the coaches will wanna take a lot of pressure off kaaya

He will win the Heisman this year. Running for 2000 yards and 20 TDs while leading Miami to an 12-1 overall record.

*Around 1,400 yards rushing

* 500 yards receiving (now that we have a QB that can throw a screen and swing passes with some touch)

* 17 total TD's - 13 rushing, 4 receiving
