Every year Golden gets the most out of a player whom everyone seems to have written off. Namely, Jeremy Lewis last season. He contributed a ton last year and helped the team. This season my guess is Cali native Kelvin Cain. He is one of the oldest of the defensive linemen on this squad. For some reason I think he puts together a solid season and helps our D win games. He's going to need to be the consistent DE who plays his age.

Nantambu Akil-Fentress. The little dude shows up making a play in the most unexpected places.

I am going with Gaines. He was hurt some last year and I think he will show some solid burst and be a real good MLB against the run. I see a lot of Nickel and Hybrid sets in our future as I think a lot of teams are playing from behind. If we know its a pass then we will obviously not have him out there but I truly think we see a great year from Gaines.

As limited as Cain is athletically, he is going to get a chance to do something.

I'm going with #81 Carter I could see the playmaking ability I think by mid-season hes going to be a major contributor on the team....

Also, if M Lewis is all the way back, he becomes our #1 receiver by the 6th game.

My pick: Cornelius. Special teams, packages...I think he will make some plays for us. Kid just smashes people, his problem is that he's a linebacker trapped in a safety's body.

Old guy: Porter staying healthy for every game, all season into the post season. FINALLY.

New guy: Cornelius.

The dlinemen that are Randy holdovers...I believe they, like Trell Henderson, get it and are going to surprise some folks. They are Luther, Kelvin, Porter and Dye, if he is healthy!
