C- Gauthier

If we keep Donaldson, then he would start & you could put him at RT or RG & McDoormat would hit the bench, because you could move Darling over to the other Guard spot.

If Odogwu ever gets healthy, I would probably try him at LG over McDerm as well...

But honestly, Idk what the f*ck to do with this OL, lol...

McDermott has played much better at LT these past 4 games than at guard the first 8 games of the season.
 
LT Donaldson -- Most talented player by far. He's an EE, so should be ready by the fall.
LG Darling -- Keeps him on the left side.
C Linder -- I'm hesitant to put Gauthier there because of lack of snaps, but he's definitely more physical than Linder. Could easily see him taking the job.
RG -- McDermott -- Most versatile guy.
RT St. Louis -- Seems to be playing well there. No need disrupt that.

You're probably the only one that remembered that dude Brown that transfered. But Is he actually good enough to start? I don't honestly know any thing about that dude. And I wouldn't put it past Donaldson to start at LT immediately.

You're probably the only one that remembered that dude Brown that transfered. But Is he actually good enough to start? I don't honestly know any thing about that dude. And I wouldn't put it past Donaldson to start at LT immediately.

Well, what I do know is Brown's been practicing with the team since we officially got him here on Campus, so my assumption is that they're grooming him to be the starting LT...

Richt wouldn't have brought him in if they didn't expect him to start & when Coach Brown was asked about it in a post practice presser the week before we played Duke, he basically said he better be ready to be a day 1 impact guy, cause that's why they got him.

As far as Donaldson, I think he's an incredibly talented athlete & one of the best lineman in the country & if we're able to keep him in this class, I think he'll start day 1 as well... But I don't think it would be at LT.

Even for a prospect as gifted as he is, you're setting your QB up to get his neck broken by starting a True Freshman LT.
It's arguably the most difficult position to play on the field & he might struggle with that early on...

I think Donaldson will be a future NFL 1st round pick, he's that talented, but he'll still have his growing pains as TF starter, that's why it's best to initially play him at RT or one of the Guard spots... Then once he develops further & the game slows down for him, he could very well move to LT.

Hes still young, but he was at the bottom of the depth chart at Lsu. He could start, but nobody really knows what to expect from him.

We have enough decent-but-not-amazing guys that there should be a healthy competition at a bunch of spots.

LT: St. Louis/Brown/Donaldson
LG: Darling/McDermott
C: Gauthier/Linder
RG: McDermott/Odogwu
RT: Odogwu/Brown/Donaldson

Personally, I think the game 1 (not necessarily season-long) starting lineup will be:

LT: St. Louis
LG: Darling
C: Gauthier
RG: McDermott
RT: Odogwu

If KC MCDermott ever learn how to snap the ball it would probably improve his NFL aspirations

LT-Sonny/ McDermott
Lg- Darling / Linder
C- Mcdermont /Gauthier
RG- St. Louis / Slaton
RT -Donaldson / Brown
