Now that Kayaa has officially been named starter for this season, lets predict his season stats.

For comparison, Christian Hackenberg's stats from last season starting as a true freshman:

2955 yards passing, 58.9% completion percentage, 20 TDs, 10 ints

My Kayaa stat prediction:

3100 passing yards, 61% completion percentage, 23 TDs, 9 ints

Wins every game he starts. That is the only thing I really care about. So, 2-4 W's.
Then RW comes back and takes us to 10 wins.

If he keeps the job all year:
3200 passing yards
60 percent passer
24 TD
13 INT

If Williams gets the job when he's healthy, then it doesn't really matter.

Kaaya would have to play bad to be relieved. Like terrible. I think like 2500 yards 22 TDs, 8 ints. Can't really tell from just highlights but his are long and he doesn't seem to force throws. He may get into trouble by defense showing him thi gs he hasn't seen before but I suspect he will throw single digit picks. The offense will be more run heavy I presume.

Hoping for a Mariota kind of freshman year minus the rushing yards! If so, we are GOLDEN!

Honestly just keep the int's down and the completion % up and things should take care of themselves. In a full season, if he keeps the pick's under 15 and has a completion % over 55% (I think it will be higher), he will throw for over 3000yds with the players he has around him. He just has to limit the mistakes.

62% completion percentage
3,100 yards
21 TD's
8 int's
10-2 record first ACC title appearance Kaaya vs. Winston
