2: immediate family members (needs to be verified)
3: verified family friends and/or high school coaches/teammates
4: other recruits
5: current players and university coaching staff
and from my understanding. most journalists use #5 as their sources because it is the easiest and most dependable source. by dependable, I don't mean the accuracy. I mean that the info will always be present as the journalists don't need to chase #5 as hard as they need to chase #1-4 .
