At safety I would bring in JT’s kid for depth and be done. Markeith looked the part vs Rutgers. I would feel really good with him and Riley being the starters with JT’s kid and Zaquan getting reps.
 
CB I would want one for depth. I honestly think Richard and Porter are going to be a top tier duo in the conference but a guy to push them and play nickel would be great.


I honestly don’t think we’re in bad shape. Once Jaden started to pay less and less our boundary play improved tremendously.

For me at CB it’s like this, are you okay with your 83%? It’s a solid B, you’re folks aren’t going to be mad at you and you’re still in a spot to achieve some accolades. But what about a 91%? Your parents are happy, you got a shot at 4.0 and the deans list, and people are seeking you out to recognize you.
At S, I think you need more. All of ours and even the transfer Riley haven’t played much. You need atleast 1 with the bonafides. JT’s kid got passed up and when I watched him it was for cause. He wasn’t very good at all.

Markeith looked solid and so did Jaden Harris no reason to portal another safety time to develop. Jackson would compete at nickel right away fine with that take and give me Richard over brown starting all day.

I love Markeith, but no. Let’s not be silly - he is a dawg but is physically limited. We need another safety with some size.

Guys like Markeith,Kelley,Wesley and Wayne need to hangout with Bain and see what he ate and lifted to add 25+lbs last summer and maybe they too can gain some weight/muscle so they don't keep getting bullied on game days.
