Listen I was a fan of the Mario hire cause I know he would bring out the money in the University and he would build at least some trenches with the oline. But his hire/fire process is definitely not cut throat enough and it proves he isnt made to do this the hard way. I get it its not easy to fire people but there is a time and a place.

Yea, and I havent given up on Mario yet. Im glad he brought out the money side of the University. Lets see if he can pivot and make the proper defensive portal moves now we can allocate some of the money elsewhere.

Doesn’t matter if he hired someone or not. He’s recruiting who he wants to recruit. Always has been that way since he got here. Highsmith didn’t get his way often and was severely underutilized.

Honestly, the portal is slim pickings of good players anyway. DB and soon to be WR has entirely passed us by and there might be 3-4 good DTs in the portal to begin with. Fingers crossed for O’Connor and that Jordan Scruggs makes his visit and it goes well or DB is still entirely a disaster

I ******* hate Mario, I don't care if he pulls a rabbit out of a hat somehow (he won't). He makes EVERYTHING harder than it needs to be. No matter how good this transfer class is, it could've been better by simply firing Guidry like every other god **** ******* coach alive would've done. He's simply too arrogant and stupid to get out of his own way and the boosters/admin have no control over him or the balls to even try.
