Amazing how well Ohio State recruits DB's so well and still need to hit the portal for DB's. So strange.

I mean as a rule the same things that sell high school kids are going to sell portal kids, with a few notable exceptions. If you can develop DBs, pay well and win a lot you’re going to be able to sell high schoolers and portal kids.

What I just don't get is how Mario can have such a blind spot? He knows what good DB play is. If it were Saban, he would already have brought in the best NFL and College DB coach in the country and the best DB recruiter in the country to join his staff as analysts with a mandate to fix the problem.

Mario is one stubborn MFer. But I've always thought winning was more important to him that anything. He has to know he can't repeat this mistake. So I'm just closing my eyes and hoping/believing he'll fix it.
