Honestly, I’m not sure what to believe anymore. I’ve heard so many conflicting things from different credible people, and it’s hard to know what’s true. My biggest concern is that we may not have the financial resources to compete with elite programs, yet we act as if we’re smarter than everyone else. At this point, the results speak for themselves. The Defense needs serious financial support and a better percentages with hitting on evals.
 
If we goin after this fucnutz, I’m bout to get a refund on my $$$ to canes connection. 😳🤔😂

Right there with you. I don't have time to evaluate all these busts. But just as I trust Mario and Mirabal to properly evaluate OL, I do NOT trust the current staff to properly evaluate DBs. They need external counsel.

We already know how this story ends. If we keep it a buck, portal additions overall since Mario have arrived has been underwhelming. Goes in line with his lack of ability to evaluate talent overall. It's there to see in his recruiting classes.

Arizona and UCF dudes are coming for visits, while this stud is not even mentioning us. Can't wait to hear the reports about how great they look on Greentree though.

Guys who should have been offered the second they entered portal. This is just off the top of my head and CB specifically, didn’t even mention S which is also a need.

And who knows, maybe we reached out to every single one of those kids and offered them a deal of a lifetime along with their family members too. And if that’s the case, you can ban me from the site and call me every name in the book. But I’m going to go out on a limb and say that we didn’t, and if we did and still can’t get any traction with starting spots to offer, then that’s an even bigger issue and we aren’t who ya’ll think we are.

Is it possible that we reached out all these top tier 1 year rentals and they all said no because of our current history with regression of talent they believe their draft stock would be shot

At this point as depressing as the vibe is around portal secondary recruiting this feels slightly better than knowing our staff is prioritizing the kids we are
