Just returned this morning from the game

As is always true, BC fans are great and still always relive two plays
Hail flutie
And Ed reeds TD return

First of all, big props to the fan base
We had more people in the than I can remember
We were there in big numbers, and we were loud when Duke got us excited...
The goal line stand was awesome, even though it was on the opposite end zone from where we were
Knew we stopped them by our fans reaction across the stadium

Game thoughts
Morris was solid, but need to set his feet better on the quick throws
Yes, there were the typical 6-8 drops, but also didnt lead and under threw too many
He's got the tools and he managed it very well

OL is not a good run blocking group yet
Yes duke hit some HRs but I think his ability to get past the first line of D was his ability, not so much the OL
did like WRs staying on their blocks down field
With this issue, we still have no red zone identity
This apparent last year v KSU, and is still ugly
We cannot pound, and don't have a TE or WR to make the plays to be finesse
Unless this is rectified soon, it will cost a game or two

DL and overall D does not have a playmaker in sight
Pierre and chick did what they could, but DL cannot get pressure on the QB and I concerned about anyone who can really let it fly (even though 425 is pretty nasty)
T-maque is just bad
Bad angles, poor recognition and pre-snap reads
Anytime BC made a play in the middle, you knew he was step late
Overall the D has no one stepping up and dominant
Is it youth, or probably lack of talent

Duke is something special,
And there is no reason for me to say anymore than has already
Botts and the special teams were excellent just as they were last year
At least one third of this team is greatly improved and gives me hope

With as many close games as we are going to play, the Red Zone efficiency is crucial. I can't stress that enough.
