We need to change our defense to 4-3 format.

IIRC many HS in Florida use this format. I think it is a waste of time and energy for the defensive players fresh out of HS, have to learn 3-4 at the U.

Is it correct that all our national championship teams used 4-3 defense?

ANYBODY from the ALA staff. Seems to have worked out perfectly for our rival up there on I-10. Ole Pruitt was the phuckin DB Coach at ALA and hes looking like the D Coordinator of the year over there. So maybe Saban can do Al a solid and send over any staff member he can do without. Is Crudup still on the ALA staff? We'll take him!

We took Tim Walton from Saban's staff when Shanntard was HC. That didn't go too well.

So you want Al to fire himself?

That would be ideal. Ray Rhodes did it at Philadelphia. I just don't buy into scapegoating assistants. It almost never works and that's especially true when the assistant is running your scheme.

Just wanna let you guys know that if I get the job there's gonna be some changes.

*We'll be multiple, but when we run a 3-4 we'll be using the 1-gap variant.
*I'm running with McCord or AQM at the weak DE/OLB spot at all times. Every down.
*Jenkins and Bush are the Safeties. Highsmith and/or Rogers will only be used in a pinch
*We're gonna use combo coverages. Man + zone on the same play.
*A lot of pre-snap movement.
