Popo Aumavae 2017 NT/OG as a potential 2017 dline (or even oline) class addition could provide the future run stuffing (running game point of attack offensive guard) interior 1 technique DT that Miami will need to replace Kendrick Norton/Courtel Jenkins after next year.

at 6'4" 315lbs Popo is a Polynesian physical specimen that can both control the LOS and has outstanding short area athleticism (he ran 4.6sec 20yd shuttle) to track down ball careers. Aumayae scored a sparq rating of 98.23 which for a interior linemen is very impressive an speaks volumes about his over athleticism and further supports why all of the west coast power houses have offered him. He is even been offered by Michigan and Ole Miss, in the end I think it will be a tough road to pull away from the west coast but worth the effort.

Popo Aumayae is the type DT/NT that ends up at a UWash, Oregon, or Utah then gets drafted in the 1st/2nd road and people say where did this Polynesian kid come from out of nowhere. Miami is long over due for another Polynesian star dlinemen (the last one turned out pretty good). An with a redshirt year to get stronger and faster in Miami's S&C off season program ewwwwh weeee Aumavae, playing in rotation with who UM currently has committed could make the law firm of Shaq, Picknay, & McCloud definite NFL 1st round picks by their junior year.

Hard to get a Polynesian kid from the west coast out here.

But we do need to get at least one Stud Dt our every class.

1. No chance this guy leaves PAC-12 country.

2. Norton is going to be on the team in 2018, dumbass. He is not leaving after next year.

Definitely would be cool to finally tap the Poly well. Seems like the last one we haven't gone to at least once. I don't count The Rock in that aspect for a myriad of reasons but it would be nice if we somehow could use him/his heritage in nabbing one of these beasts.

This Poly-boy warrior is a take just because his first name is "Popo"...

He'd also rock the pre-game 50 yd line with a Haka or Sipi Tau...

Ka mate, ka mate! Ka ora, ka ora!

Can you think of one outstanding Poly-boy warrior who played college ball east of Colorado? I'm coming up empty.

Would be nice for the Canes to get a foothold...only problem is Evangelic teachings tend to make Mormons feel at odds amd unwelcomed...

Well Mormon money definitely seems to have found it's way east to Florida, a few years back they bought 2% of the state in a huge land deal and on top of that they have a huge ranch in Central Florida as well that has 44,000 head of cattle. So Don't kid kid yourself the Mormons are hear, so the Poly football players shouldn't be far behind an why not have Popo be the first one from the West Coast, since the Rock was a Polynesian from Pennsylvania.

Mormon Church purchases 2% of the state of Florida for half a billion dollars

Go Canes
