The will run next week in GMAC Finals--

Mark Pope --100m (10.80) and 200m (21.98) --both still equal or below national elite speed

Tyrique Stevenson finishes 4th in 100m (10.88)----big guy, big hitter and nearing HS national elite speed to go with his skill set.

These sofla Ballers need to realize what will happen if they stay. I know we’re cane fans and have O AND G colored lenses but sh.t is just getting ridiculously obvious on so many levels. But these kids still wanna bounce cause they haven’t seen a relevant canes team in theire lifetime and I can respect that up to a point. But they play against each other and real recognize real. They have to know what’s coming and what they can be a part of.

we just had a relevant team last year what u talkin bout, being relevant is top 10 and being talked about in the playoffs during the last 2 weeks of the season. Thats relevant

I agree. I’m just repeating the narrative that other teams tell them. Hence “up to a point”. Other teams have less and less shade to throw after last year’s record, player development, freshman starts/playing time, facilities etc..
I’ll word it better next time.

I get what u saying but if bama lets say loses 4 games next year and we lose 2 they still have a leg up on telling everyone they r bama. We wouldnt be able to throw shade regardless, we are relevant no one can throw shade at us. The reason we lose kids is not because the typical miamis not winning excuse (that doesnt fly no more) or another team is winning, there r other things in play that we dont see. How FSU beat us for 2 cats and they sucked so bad, they literally targeted guys after we did and took them from us it has nothing to do with wins. To me the only time u can literally recruit yourself and your programs name recruits itself is when u do what bama is doing now and what they have done in 10 years, that was like when we had Coker that dude aint really have to recruit the university sold itself. U have to sell football nothing else to get the elites.

Pope is one fast ****!!

I think he'll be one of the 1st frosh to hit the field and he'll be devastating.

Can't wait for him and Thomas being on the field together. That will give any defense nightmares!!!

But we still have to find a QB that can get the ball to them consistently

Kid is a star and will be one at Miami

He and Wiggins played at the same school and Pope was quoted as saying that Wiggins was a little faster than he was. Gonna be a lot of speed on the perimeter.

Schedule them. Beat them. Simple.
