Question to those who might know, is there a difference on how the guys are treated that played for UM versus those that go and play for other major programs when they come back and make a career after football here in South Florida? I have always thought and assumed that guys who played here tend to get more support from the community after football. Especially those guys that obviously don't end up becoming millionaires in the NFL. I am not sure that is reality, and I was wondering if that's the kind of thing that could influence recruits? I know it's the case in smaller towns in the SEC, but not sure here.

I would imagine the alumni get the royalty treatment and others would get treated good but not on the same level. I mean if they get a job and all they would get treated professionally but I would bet there would be a difference.

If they were a part of one of the NC teams or part of that era they seem to get the GOD treatment in SFLA.

If you were part of the team that won number 6 here you’d forever eat and drink for free in S.Fla.

The key cogs on 6 will have more notoriety than just about anyone that has played here
