I’m not buying it. They have these kids play them with Silent commits and stop recruiting the Dunmores and Elams who are studs. If they commit publicly it’s one thing but their recruiting strategy needs to change quickly

Maybe he's saying Miami is plan B for the kids


Kids save a spot here and then go get the offer they really wanted.

The fact that we stopped recruiting a talent like Elam regardless who is a silent commit is all one needs to know.....

Don’t act like we are bama and we can’t do this silent commit B.S

It’s apart of the game and it will never not be... we just need to produce when they are silent because that shows that want to be here but they want to make sure their options are open in case we lay an egg like we didn

I say you bring 'em in on a 3 year scholarship. Year 1 you redshirt and get your mind right, embracing & attacking the drills in practice & your classes, after all you're in a 3 year degree program. Year 2, you're a freshman and if you've done it the right way, you're gonna get some reps in garbage time. By year 3, I need to know if you can be trusted to play... if not, this is your last year and I'll help you find a spot at App St. At least in that scenario, we have bodies competing at every spot... CB is a total joke. We got 1 CB in 3 seperate years... unacceptable.

Been saying this. If your position is full, you keep recruiting the guys you have along with other potential targets. We need to expand our board. We throw out offers like we're Bama, but we're not producing like it.
