Steve Wiltfong recently made an expert prediction that Miami will land a 4-star IOL, Canon Pickett, in 2026. Canon Pickett is the younger brother of edge rusher Booker Pickett Jr., who is currently in his freshman season at Miami.

Saturday could not have gone any worse for UF from a recruiting perspective. This whole ordeal reminds me a great deal of the 2010 UM-FSU game that was the nail in the coffin for Randy Shannon. Stacked list of visitors only to get blown out at home against a rival. You had UM leans and recruits cheering for FSU by the end of the game. IIRC, that douche bag Nick O'Leary was in the FSU locker room following the game. A complete disaster. FSU cleaned up that year.

Feels good to be on the other side and it really feels like the stars are beginning to align. UF and FSU are disasters. UM has a robust NIL budget and a relentless staff on the trail. Execute on the field and a Top 5 class (perhaps even better) sounds incredibly realistic.
