21. 2014 OL KC McDermott (Palm Beach Central)
The brother of current Hurricane junior Shane McDermott, KC has been a name on the radar since freshman year. At 6’6 280, he has the length, flexibility, and technique to play tackle. He has played a lot of guard and center in his first two years of high school, so it will be interesting to see how he progresses over the next two years. Canes are the early favorite and will be tough to beat.

22. 2013 DT Maquedius Bain (University)
Bain is one of the most intriguing prospects in the country. He is raw on the field, but has the physical makeup to develop into a monster. He is about 6’3 280 and moves very well for somebody his size. He plays basketball as well and you can see that athleticism that makes him such an exciting prospect. Bain shows a nice quickness off the ball. He needs work with technique, but has one of the highest ceilings on this list.

23. 2013 RB Kelvin Taylor (Glades Day)
The son of Fred Taylor, Kelvin has been on the scene since an eighth grader. The UF commit is only about 5’8 and isn’t a burner, but his production is literally unmatched, as he holds the all-time state of Florida rushing record with still a season left to add to it. The competition is not good, but his accomplishments can’t be ignored. Taylor shows good vision and patience. He will be a good player at the next level.

24. 2013 WR Jordan Cunningham (University)
Cunningham is a prospect that Miami fans know about because he is one of the top receivers on the board, and has the Canes leading along with Stanford. He isn’t as big as his listed 6’3 (closer to 6’1), but has been very productive entering his senior year. He isn’t a speedster, but has great ball skills. He shows very good ball control and is sure-handed.

25. 2014 WR Tyre Brady (South Dade)
Brady is one of the most explosive athletes in South Florida. He has impressive size (6’3 180) and speed. Has long arms and is very fluid. His ceiling is extremely high and he has torn up the 7-on-7 scene. He camped at Miami and won MVP for receivers. He likes the Canes and Ohio State early on.
26. 2014 DB Quincy Wilson (University)
Wilson has been one of the most talked about prospects by Miami fans due to the fact that he hasn’t been offered, despite him being a legacy (son of Chad Wilson) and him being highly-regarded. He is a CB/S tweener at 6’2, is physical, and likes to hit. Camped at Miami, but still was not offered. He will get his Miami offer, but the Canes better hope it’s not too late once they do. He has expressed some frustration with not receiving it yet. Miami is still in good position.

27. 2014 ATH Quinton Flowers (Jackson)
The dual-threat QB is fun to watch. He is an elusive runner and has a live arm. Flowers makes plays inside and outside of the pocket. Has been very productive at the high school level and could put up huge numbers in the right system in college if he stays at QB. I think is a good enough athlete to play receiver in college, time will tell.

28. 2014 DE Chad Thomas (Booker T)
The lesser-known Thomas on the Booker T defense, Chad emerged as a force last year. His 6’4 200 frame with long arms make him a scary threat as a pass-rusher. He will continue to grow into his body and develop. An aggressive tackler with a great motor.

Enoicy plays receiver in high school, but I project him at tight end in college. At 6’4 210, he uses his body incredibly well and boxes out to get jump balls. He is a mismatch problem for smaller defenders. Needs to refine route running, but again, I think he is better suited as a pass-catching tight end.

An Oklahoma commit, Bryant shows a good balance of power and speed. He has prototypical running back size at 5’11 195. Bryant runs compactly and powerfully, as well as showing good elusiveness for his size. North-South runner who projects well in college.
