3 years in a row of having to go grad transfer route at 1 position is embarrassing.

I think the staff is getting us to a good point in terms of national relevancy but they have horribly mismanaged DB (assuming we don’t get either TC or PS2) and potentially DL (we’ll see how we close).

I think we'll close well on the DL. Truly feel Briggs, Chatfield and Chatman will be Canes and if Thompson ends up visiting, I for some reason have a feeling we'll seriously be in it for him.

Not sure I understand an overall DB strategy that would involve getting more at this point if we didn't land some additional targets on our board. We presumably have 5 high quality DB prospects (4 signed and 1 committed) so if we whiff on Surtain and Campbell, not sure it's a prudent use of scholarships. If we could land 5 DBs per year of this quality, we'd probably take this every year and be excited about it despite the fact that we missed on 3 prospects we wanted (JJ, PS and TC).

I don't think they "mismanaged." They just missed.

I love what we have landed so far at DB, but if we don't land one of the AH kids it will be shameful. It really is shocking how poorly we have done recruiting DBs, S. FL is a hotbed for this position and yet we continually whiff.

Yeah we are getting really good DBs in this class. I bet we find a way to land campbell. Surtain is not coming here .
