It's hard to judge him on his current team, because he has to play backyard football to make plays and help his team win. The Jackson team I saw yesterday was an absolute mess and he was visibly frustrated.
The negatives would be height (5'11) and his release, which needs work. The positives would be ball handling (excellent pump fakes, handles poor snaps), arm strength and poise.
Flowers has a sick arm and athleticism. Like D$ said, he's running for his life and has nobody to throw to. He has left some to be desired with decision-making, but a lot of the time it's just him trying to make a play because there's no one around him helping out.
Harris is a really good QB, very accurate but doesn't have the same athleticism and arm strength as Flowers.
neither of these guys will be asked to play QB for a few years if Olsen comes here
so they have time to develop the savvy needed at this level
both have athleticism and that leadership, carry-the-load ability
anquan boldin, snoop minnis,...
you take these kids and let them play their way onto the field
Flowers would make a great QB for GT, now that I think about it. He's got a strong arm, very fast runner, shorter QBs actually tend to be better option guys.
I'm taking Treon Harris. I just feel this kid is going to be a baller at the next level. I think once he overcomes his qb mind mistakes he will be untouchable.
