Extremely impressive tape!

Kid looks like he’s been shot out of a cannon on almost every play.

Great acceleration and instincts. Also hits like a Mack truck.

I hope that we are making him a priority for his Class.
 
Dude, we’re on Anthony Solomon, Ge’mon Eaford, Jahmar Brown, and Sammy brooks. If we don’t land at least one of these guys to go with Jesiah Pierre and Diamante Howard then I don’t know what we’re doing at LB and we need to re-evaluate.

That being said he has a very impressive highlight tape.

but his Opening results in Miami back in February of this year was not as good:

He could have had a really bad day on his 40 but running a 5.07 at 5'9" 203 is not going to get you much attention from Miami. Let's see what his numbers are in 2018. Kids make huge gains over a year especially if he is still growing.

Got to talk to Jesiah Saturday and he’s one very well put together kid. I was under the impression he was undersized and he was defintely not.

is Diamante Howard the kid that is Sean Taylor's cousin or something like that? At the time he was first mentioned on this board, some said he's a future 5star... is he still on that path?

It's a big mystery on Howard...Highlight type shows nice frame and speed combo, but honestly there is a lot of him doing nothing on there. Would love to here some info on Howard from any Date guys.
 
Diamante Howard is an intriguing guy. Doesn’t seem to have a true position. He’s played LB and S. Seems really small, not sure he can get big enough for LB and idk if he’s athletic enough for S.

Howard started out as a 5 star prospect and is now listed as a 3 star on all the recruiting services. Why the drop?

This guy is a stud, got Cam on the ground several times as well as the backs from Central. Pierre could likely play any position at LB and may end up at WDE as well. Sam Brooks probably a WLB like Pinckney and Solomon probably a SLB like McCloud due to his speed. Idk about Jahmar Brown, haven’t seen his film yet but I believe he’s a MLB.

Been playing on one of the most loaded HS defenses in the country the last couple years and just hasn't made a ton of plays or stood out all that much. Still a very intriguing prospect that will have a good senior year

He was. I don't even want to be that guy and I hate it for the kid but I don't know if he'll ever be the same after that gruesome injury he had
 
I posted about him on twitter earlier this morning a little after Uncle Luke posted his highlight. While I am very impressed with his highlight, unless he has grown and got faster since the spring which is a short amount of time, there is concerns. His sparq concerned me like HW posted as well as his size but he can definitely play.

He’s making plays on there against the likes of Central & Carol City.

One to monitor this upcoming spring.

For some odd reason he was playing safety during the offseason and camp circuit and whoever advised him... it was a bad idea IMO. He has been playing OLB this year for Ridge and looked good so far. Had 2 safety’s in a game earlier this year.

Think it’s a little unfair the 5 star status though. He had that because of the composite rankings, and not many kids were ranked at the time for 2019 nationally when it was like that.He’s a 4 star talent imo.
