Perry or Jarren? More raw talent.

Curious to know the consensus on the board.

I feel N'Kosi could be special, Heisman candidate, 1st Round, etc. But I also feel he has a higher bust/flame out potential.

I was going to give you a pass because you said "potential", but then you mentioned the Heisman. Like it's even close to possible to pick which HS kid will even be in the top 10 let alone get the invite. People just never get tired of making wild projections based on how a kid plays against teams with a fraction of the talent any D1 team has.

What can I say I love hyperbole!

If Bradley Kaaya can be "Projected 1st pick" by the media I can prognosticate whatever I like.

Higher ceiling - Perry due to his arm
Higher floor - Williams due to his legs

I may have implied that it was stupid, but I didn't say you couldn't do it. The difference is that the media were "projecting" Kayaa to the NFL going into his 3rd season as starting QB for a major D1 program, you're trying to project kids who've never played a college down. And the fact that they could be so wrong about a guy they'd seen play for 2+ years should maybe give you pause.

I'm just saying he could be very special or he may never put it all together, adjust to the speed of the game. He has a special skill-set; what he does with it is up to him.

Liked Weldon's film more than Perry's... and by a lot

not sure about jarrens level of competition but he looks like a far more polished product on film. if you had to ask me who i'd take, i'd probably go with williams. perry has a high ceiling but i have to see him against good competition. i dont know how good jarrens comp was in hs but perrys wasnt the strongest. perry has amazing natural gifts but he was doing alot of sandlot type stuff in his highlights, jarren looks like a qb.

I guess you’ve never watched Baker Mayfield...good athletes can get away with that at the college level.

Good news is we’ll have 3 young talented QBs competing. Just need to hit on 1 of them and we’re set with the weapons coming in.

Perry just flicks that wrist and **** goes 100 yards

Means nothing in college football. Love when people get caught up in "he can throw it sooooo far" fantasy land.

Im a I dont care how much arm strength u have, I want to see how u r in the pocket and if u accurate the other things r great like arm strength because it keeps the D honest.
This. Accuracy/decision making/pocket awareness all above arm strength for a successful college QB.

Perry looks to have a better arm. Williams looks to have better running ability.

Both are sufficient at both. Should be a good competition. Perry obviously has a leg up on Williams having been in the system longer and already seeing college reps (in practice/scrimmage).

I sure hope Jarren or Perry are the guys next year. Thanks for your services this year Rosier but we need someone who is more consistent. Maybe another off season for him will help...who knows. We just don;t know which Malik will show up and that is scary.
