Perry or Jarren? More raw talent.

Curious to know the consensus on the board.

I feel N'Kosi could be special, Heisman candidate, 1st Round, etc. But I also feel he has a higher bust/flame out potential.

Very similar athletes... Jarren is 1.5" shorter but 23 lbs heavier than N'Kosi at the same stage. Both had better stats than Sits and Allison...

Still like Perry especially his pocket awareness being elite.............both are an upgrade over Malik imo
 
Perry is going to be an interesting story in the off season if he has picked up the O and speed of the game. Kid has some serious ability.
 
Jarren Williams feel for the game is incredible. Can make some extremely difficult throws and is elusive in the pocket

Jarren can be a very good player. Hate to mention a Buckeye, but I see similarities to JT Barrett. The good traits.

I like Perry in 2017 and Williams in 2018. Then I like Richt to start the more capable QB. Kind of insane to theoretically rank them before they can settle it on Greentree

I'm talking from a recruiting talent standpoint. I live to theoretically rank things.

They are both terrific athletic talents for the position. Whichever is better will be the one who sees the field the best, has best timing, touch and accuracy, feels the pocket well and can nake decisions on the fly.
 
Nkosi film had that wow factor to me. I said to myself "who is this guy another j Winston?" Jarren Williams just looks like a good football player .
 
Will be a fun offseason with how Rosier finishes off the season... ole boy wins the ACC and plays for or wins a natty it will be hard to take his job..

He keeps missing wide open receivers and talking about be complacent and we will have a full on QB battle with best man winning

What makes you think he didn't?

Anyhow, I rate Perry above the rest in our roster for the highest ceiling. He has the best arm in that he can make all the throw, but where he really shines over the others is on his deep ball. His deep ball is just so catchable. The guy he immediately reminded me of in that aspect, was Danny Wuerffel. Game recognizes game and while a Gator, his deep ball just floated down from the skies above making for an easy catch on bombs.

The other part that really stuck out to me about Perry was his field awareness. When he's forced to move out of the pocket, he doesn't just take off and go, but finds space while keeping his eyes down the field. He looks like he has capable wheels, but the calmness that he displays when the play breaks down is uncanny. He knows that he'll draw in defenders and this means he can pass the ball this making a bigger play than the handful he would've got running.

No disrespect to the other two, both I feel have a lot to offer. Weldon is a gunslinger who can hurt you all over the field. Williams is the best all around athlete who can throw it where it needs to go or get those yards with his feet if needed.

We've got a really competent crew, assuming Williams is for sure coming.

You for real don't understand what I wrote? I said I like NKosi for last year and Williams for this year. Stack chips. I'm not going to decide who's going to be the guy before NKosi takes a college snap and Jarren has never practiced with the team. I'm hoping to have both here in the spring to decide who's better.

In my amateur scouts view Perry seems to have better tools while Williams looks to have a better command of the game. Hopefully Perry adds some weight and he learns to make quicker reads. I hope Jarren will add some upper body strength to get a bit more zip on deep outs. Whoever is selected to start I hope wins us a couple titles. But my point is it's totally unfair to anoint or write off either option at this point

All I'm saying is nkosi tape reminded me of a cfb superstar. Jarren just looks like a very good hs player but doesn't remind me of anyone. That being said who knows what will happen?
