Perfect Romeo Finley Replacement

We just need to go back to a 4-3 and X the striker position. I know Manny added that position cause didn’t feel Pickney, Quarterman, and McCloud were athletic enough to cover, but I think we’ll get a different result from the likes of Huff and Brooks.

No. With spread offenses these days you are in nickel most of the time. Nobody really is playing a true 4-3 or 3-4 anymore. And diaz didn't change schemes. He used this at miss st. He was going to have grace play striker back in 2016 but he got kicked off the team.

Gil is perfect for striker but I do like stokes also I would take him let him sit for 2 years and when gil is gone he takes over
 
Yeah not sure what the one poster is talking about but Frierson is going to be a **** good Striker here. Will pick up where Romeo left off. We saw flashes this year. Romeo will be missed because he is consistant like a **** and has been the most consistent player on this defense pound for pound this whole season but Frierson is a better athlete and will work out just fine. No way to going back to a 4-3.

Romeo has been our mvp over the last two years. And many of us, myself included, wrote him off before last year. He’s been consistent and tackles well. Huff at striker is intriguing for sure but I see Romeo on the outside playing coverage a lot so I don’t know how it’d help us. But get the athletes on the field somehow someway
 
No one can replace Finley and his hair. NO ONE! That being said, sign this kid and put him at LB or striker. Like his film. Remember **** happens, like 2 back-up LB's getting hurt and missing the season. Can always use a lunatic on kick-off coverage. See Carl Walker.

Isn't Stokes like 5'11"? That seems like it would make him difficult to project to the striker position.

I've liked Stokes tape...He's been discussed on here. And would consider him a nice backup plan as an in box safety...He is physical

But he's nothing like Finley...This kid is like 5'10. If you haven't noticed, tall rangy kids that are kinda tweeners... are the ones going to striker.

Uh no, I think the defense we have now is perfect for Miami.
