Some kids want to be Canes no matter what. Some don't.

Seems clear to me that he doesn't want to be a Cane. If he shocks the world, so be it, but he's talking about 4 visits in January and not one is with us...

Towards LSU. But who knows with rump. He’s a good coach but who knows with rumph. How do we have an alumn at heritage and they’re basically a pipeline school for the SEC and OSU the entire time? Baffling. Then rumph mentions things about us recruiting his players on the radio that clearly were not true. Especially claiming we were never recruiting Michel that hard which was total bullsh*t

Abused wife syndrome. We don’t see us as an elite program anymore that can compete w “The Big Boys.” Never mind we snatched Gurvan Hall from Nick’s personal visit. Never mind we got Ahmon back commited. Never mind we pulled Frierson who UGA put the full court press on. Never mind we locked up the # 2 rated RB in the nation or last year we pulled in, OUT OF NO WHERE, the # 5 WR in the nation last year in JT4.

If Golden can pull in TH3, anything can happen. If he comes on the 26th, then obviously there’s more interest than he’s put on.

Regarding Michel maybe he was just referring to the bag game....we all know Georgia dropped serious cash there. We are in no position to play that game.

That wasn't Ps2 first practice this season.. He and the AH boys pulled up to a sunday night practice that no one reported. Senior wasnt there, just chat nesta tyson and ps2 towards the end of the season.

visit, then he isn't signing with us, even if he still manages to show
up.
This late in the recruiting game and a kid unsure about visiting is all
one needs to know.
Are there exceptions?
Sure, but those exceptions occur when we bring in a kid who is being
under-recruited and big-time UM shows up at the 11th-hour.
But this isn't the case with Surtain.
We fans need to move on already.

Huh??? There are 4 weekends in which he can visit in January and he named 4 schools not named Miami. When he previously listed a top 5, he named 5 schools not named Miami. I'd love to be wrong...but if it walks like a duck...hope we can land Tyson Campbell.

Been following this for years.
If a kid is still unsure about even taking an OV with only a few weeks until signing day,
then he is really not serious about UM.
Nadab didn't really everyone, including me.
Alabama is on top of the food chain, and they are one of the few programs
that can lure kids seemingly out-of-nowhere.....but they are the exception.
Finally, I don't disagree with coaches not giving up on him until he signs, but in the
meantime, I hope we are on other kids as well.
Lots of very good college CBs from soFla playing all country, we need to be on those
kids too and not get left with our collective dcks in our hands come signing day.

I don't see it. LSU only has the DB coach as something to offer right now.

If we lose it will be to Alabama most likely. However both Bama and Georgia play a lot of zone. Surtain has said many times he is interested in teams that play a lot of man coverage.

So now it’s not “ he grew up a LSU fan and he’s got family there”.......now it’s “ the better opportunity is at Bama” EVEN THOUGH the family is tight with Rumph and the kid was coached by Rumph.

This sounds to me like the old man doesn’t want his kids anywhere around Rumph when it comes to coaching his kid.

Maybe it has nothing to do with any coach. Maybe they just don't like miami.

Maybe the most obvious answer is the right answer.... Rumph isn't good at recruiting. We've got sufficient data before Surtain and Campbell shoot us down. Those will just be the nail in the coffin.
