Half the team is NOT trash. They’re good enough to CONSISTENTLY beat the Coastal and any team aside from Clemson in the ACC should the coaches get their act together.

Define "eaten alive". I have no intention of rewatching last night's game, but I only recall one time for sure where Bandy was beaten. Redwine, Delaney and Knowles were the worst.

2 third and long slant plays stick out to me. Man coverage and Bandy was beat...by a 2* I don't recall MJ getting worked out, but yes all of the others you mentioned were spanked as well.

I just don't think Bandy has secured, locked down, or done anything to be told he has a job in 2018. Outside of his pick 6 this year he didn't really have a great year if we're being honest.

I'd disagree with that entirely. He was a blanket for most of the season. The pick 6 was his play of the year, but he was otherwise a very good player IMO.

define blanket please? He was caught on all year, poor tackler for most of the season. People always ask why were in base with 3 and 4 wr sets and it's because our nickel SUCKED at tackling and getting ball carriers to the ground. He had a couple of good games, but he played like a true freshman. A few good plays and a lot of learning. He'll be ok, but if you think he locked anything down then you and me will politely disagree.

Yeah we'll have to disagree, I didn't see that. I thought he was our most consistent corner by far.

Another interview from Surtain where we don’t even get mentioned either he’s just gone shock everybody and pick us signing day or he’s definitely not coming. Said LSU leading but Bama is right behind them.

Let’s be real. Guys like Delaney, Redwine, Knowles, and Jackson have zero business being recruited or playing in the Miami teams of old. It showed last night in that they couldn’t cover 2 star recruits from Wisconsin in press coverage. Whisky was missing their top 2 WRs. Guys like Young and Bandy shouldn’t be starters. Maybe Bandy down the road as he has the talent, but he shouldn’t be forced to take over a game as a true freshman.

There’s 2 ways to look at that. Campbell and Surtain would be the most talented CBs on the roster they day they step foot on campus. They’ll make the two deep immediately and probably be starting by mid season. I highly doubt Campbell and Surtain would be getting beat in press coverage like Jackson and Delaney last night.

I haven’t gone back to watch the tape. Delaney and Redwine can’t play press man coverage. They were so bad I had nightmares. Bandy made a couple nice plays but got beat also. Granted he had the hardest job of any DB. That being said, Jackson still would never be recruited by a non-Golden staff at UM.
