Patrick Surtain jr.

Don't look now but LSU looking to replace Canada with good ol' Eddie Gran.

Orgeron wants 3 yards and a cloud of dust and plans on hiring Gran?

I seem to recall he’s had some pretty good runs lately (cincy, etc).

I guess what I was saying is Gran doesn't run the type of offense that I thought Orgeron was wanting to run.

Oh gotcha, I misunderstood your post. Yeah, it’s a bit odd but that’s the latest rumor on tigerdroppings.

If I'm PS2, I look at the talent and think to myself that I have a legitimate shot at starting week 1. Same with Campbell.

Absolutely. Bandy (at nickel) and Jaquan are the only ones who belong in the secondary. The other spots (2 corners and 1 safety) are ripe for the taking.

If there was any question as to if we had a shot at PS2 I think it was answered last night watching that ****show.

No way if I’m PS am I turning my son over to Rumph and that staff if Corey Bell is available at LSU.Watching Those DBs trying to cover those plodding receivers last night and getting their **** handed to them time and time again do I want my son there learning those bad habits.

Sorry but I think we lost all chance to get the kid last night.Neg me if you want but that’s my opinion.

I think this is the reason he will come.
If he is as good as advertised, he will replace "those DB's" game 1....against LSU.

Bandy hasn't done anything to sew a spot up. He played OK for a freshman but got picked on quite a bit too. If he wasn't from South Florida people on here would've been much less complimentary of his play. We really need to get better there, big time. Every secondary spot should be up for grabs.

All spots are up for grabs lol. That's how football works.

You mean the Bandy that was getting eaten alive in man coverage by a freshman 2* WR? That Bandy is one of the only ones who belong in the secondary? Man what game do some people watch?

Corey Raymond not Bell.

If Bandy got picked on "quite a bit", then Young, Delaney and Jackson got picked on "quite a whole ******* lot". Jaquan wasn't perfect this year either. Both have room for improvement, but both are starting next year. The other guys are exposed against quality QB's, which we didn't see a lot this year.

Define "eaten alive". I have no intention of rewatching last night's game, but I only recall one time for sure where Bandy was beaten. Redwine, Delaney and Knowles were the worst.

2 third and long slant plays stick out to me. Man coverage and Bandy was beat...by a 2* I don't recall MJ getting worked out, but yes all of the others you mentioned were spanked as well.

I just don't think Bandy has secured, locked down, or done anything to be told he has a job in 2018. Outside of his pick 6 this year he didn't really have a great year if we're being honest.

I told people that Young was nowhere near as good as people thought he was.

I assume he was injured last night?

Jackson wouldn't survive five minutes in the NFL either - he's got no change of direction skills. He's a big, fast, lanky corner - which is why he looks a million dollars when he gets to run stride for stride down the field with a WR. Break off something short though and he takes an age to adjust his feet and drive to the ball.

Young has been victim of the CIS hype train. Nice player but I also never got the hype.

I'd disagree with that entirely. He was a blanket for most of the season. The pick 6 was his play of the year, but he was otherwise a very good player IMO.

I was high on Young after he showed flashes last year, but he's either not ready or not talented enough to hold down a starting spot right now.

I don't know if there's a single guy on our team besides Ahmmon who is as good as they were advertised to be. Jackson and Thomas are really good DL but never just put their foot down and took over a game.

same with the LB'ers. They are good but not CIS elite as they were advertised

I loved Bandy's touchdown saving open field tackle on that Wisconsin TE. That kind of thing goes a long way with me.

He's a bit short. That did get him beat once that I can remember when he got boxed out by a bigger stronger WR. Other than that, dude plays hungry, with good instincts, good quicks, good speed, good techique.

I want Bandy on my team, bottom line. We can win a natty with the kid.

Get some more talent around him.

This KWConch guy sounds a lot like Genron/Jon Drummond, or BigConch/RJ Hustle.
