There is an article on Rivals where X. Peters coach mentions that this may well be our 10th coach, working with the OLB. Been with Manny since Miss St.

Been a lot of speculation, and maybe I missed this buried in another thread, but thought it worth sharing.

Dee mentioned in another thread he has been elevated to the spot to help kool close.

I'd love to have barrow back now that he's been relieved of his duties by the Seahawks.
 
He is the 10th coach. He already runs meetings. Works with the VIPERS as well. Played at an FCS school in Texas
 
I figured this might have been mentioned elsewhere but there are a lot of **** filled threads to wade through this time of year.

Peter's coach was quite impressed with this guy, good sign and seemingly a job requirement.

If this guy does nothing else but help us identify and sign more top defensive linemen, this is a genius move by Mark Richt. Will be interesting to see what happens in the next recruiting cycle. If we all of a sudden start to see a bunch of top DL and DT commit to us, it would seem this was the right choice.

Probably being evaluated on recruiting by seeing how he can close before we make it official. Recruiting like a mad man for that promotion might pay off if he embraces the challenge

Has actually been with Manny since Louisiana Tech. Also coached with Banda at Incarnate Word as GA.
 
Can't hurt to have Texas guys on staff to help secure Texas recruits. Good dude, too. I think he stays close to Manny no matter where Manny goes..... hopefully they stay here a while.
