Most important factors on Saturday.

If O'Donnell can nail the Gators within the 20 yard line after every punt and boom kickoffs out the end zone U*** will have to drive the length of the field. With average offensive players and not so good o-line, no way they can march 80+ on the new and improved defense. With their lack of talent at wide reciever I can see Coach D stacking the box with 8 players, Perryman spying on Driskell and press coverage on the outside daring Driskell to throw the ball. Similar gameplan VT had for Bama

I'm probably overreacting over one game but I'm more worried about our offense in this game than the D

That and our receivers vs their DBs they do have good corners who could pose problems for our WR's I wanna see that they can win one on one battles vs those corners

It might make you feel better to know the Gata offense, no matter how bad it might be, is light years better than FAU, so you may not have to worry about how much better our D is Saturday. :) :) :)
 
Agree re: Odonnell.
But If I had to pick I'd say the offense will be more of a key than the defense.
If we can get some big plays and some sustained drives, I think our improved defense will be able to contain UF's pedestrians offense.

Yeah. Three and out from our 20 (if Dorsett returns) or 25 (if it's a touchback) and UF is NOT gonna be pinned inside their 20, ever.

If our Oline can open up some running, AND if our D can stop endless QB draws, *** short dump offs and Brown, I'd say it's a game.
 
FAU had a good punter and look what it got them 34-6. The key to victory is our OL & DL.

Smokey you're in time out .. **** I mean we know you think they're gonna win. You have admitted that you are in love with Muschump.. **** now stop posting until around 5 pm on Saturday then I will have a plate of crow for you.
 
If we turn the ball over less than twice I like our chances.

I don't see the Gators being able to generate more than 14-17 points without turnovers or special teams scores. If we can win the turnover/special team battle I'd be willing to bet we walk away Saturday victorious.

I get it. If O'Donnell can pin their non-explosive offense down and make them have to drive long distances they won't score even 2 TD's.
 
Yeah, the board that collectivelly has already made excuses for losses at UNC and Pitt thinks it's moping to call things as seen.

Those ragging on me here will be the first ones "But....but...but... we can run the table!" if we lose to the Gatas.

We didn't look good at all Friday, OK? I'm all in for Saturday, but as a Canes fan, the revenge of reallity has struck so often, everyone is oblivious to it.
