Do we have the cash to poach him from
Michigan State? Love his scheme and
with the athletes we'll have next year we
could easily be a top 15 D. We need to
make this happen.

As DC? There is zero chance of that happening.

As HC if Al leaves? He'd be an intriguing choice.

This is something I can get behind. I know that with the way the game is played today everyone wants to see a **** offense, but just think of the dominant defense Narduzzi would field with the athletes down here.

Defense definitely wins games.....

Keep Coley as OC he will get the O to score once the D can get off the field

Money is not the issue.
There has to be a vacant DC job at UM in order to hire a DC.
That's at this moment has not happened yet.

The contract, obtained by MLive.com, calls for Narduzzi’s base salary to be $512,500, with an annual retention bonus of over $40,000. If he were to leave Michigan State for another assistant’s role, Narduzzi must pay the school $250,000, provided Dantonio is still coaching the team.

Dump D'Nofrio and get him. You have to spend money to make money.

Do you SERIOUSLY think that the BEST D Coordinator in the NCAA is going to just up and leave for not so greener pastures?

I've got some nice ocean front property in Utah for some you people.....

UM has the cash to afford the Wisconsin DC David Aranda an he runs an attacking 3-4 scheme that has been a top 10 defense for 3 years now at 3 different schools. He currently making $480K at Wisc with only a 2 year contract, per state law so he doesn't have job security at UW other then a gentlemens agreement.

UM could offer $500K which would be an effective raise of $60K since Wisconson has a 8% income tax rate.

Watch the capital one bowl today and see what UM's defense could look like, considering UM has better athletes than UW. The game is on at 1pm on ABC

Go Canes

That would be good to go as well.

Lmao Aranda isn't in the same stratosphere as Narduzzi.

MSU defense has held Stanford to 10 points in 3 quarters. Watching them is like watching a clinic on the Miami 4-3.
It's like a flashback to the days we used to play defense here.

My only concern about Narduzzi is it took him 5 years to get the defense to an elite level at MSU.

THIS. Our fan base needs to face reality. Miami is no longer an ideal job or elite program. Why would the best coordinator in the country leave Michigan State for the exact same position in Miami. He would effectively be demoting himself. He's only leaving for a HC position or a pay raise at an elite program.
