No offense but you don't understand how to use statistics or what he was asking.  What he was asking was that a fair comparison would be to see how those other teams defenses performed. They all presumably face similarly por offenses therefore they ALL should have a high defensive ranking.  If they do, then the temple ranking means nothing it's just a product of poor offenses. If the res of the conference has low ranking defenses than that would indicate that they were accomplishing something the other teams weren't therefore deserve credit.  I don't know the answer and I don't have the time to look it up, maybe somebody else can. The fact is you made up your mind and then went out and found some numbers that u feel support your argument. That's fine the defense sucks and everyone knows it, so there is no reason to try so hard to find another meaningless stat to try and prove it.
