pass rush a serious priority

In an interview last month, Golden mentioned pass rush as THE biggest need on the team (only 13 sacks in 12 games). He said that's the main reason we didn't play more man coverage.

We've targeted some serious edge rushers:

Alquadin Muhammad
Devante Bond
Alex Figueroa
Tim Williams (if we close)
6 (WHEN we close)

Hopefully some of the guys already on the roster (McCord, Hoilett, Terry) can step up and apply some more pressure.

None of these guys are every-down players yet, but we have a nice array of guys we can rotate in to give us something on passing downs. That's something that couldn't be said last year.

We're gonna be bringing in waves of killers like Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and ****.

QB's be scared.

By the looks of this class, I think we've answered those questions (if we close), my main concern is stuffing the run, do we have run stuffers? We can't keep getting drove off the LOS like we're on skates

No TE production? check

OL depth? check

Elite level QB? check


Now we just need to bring home Bryant and Bostwick. We have numbers at DT but we need difference makers and those are the two biggest (realistic) ones out there.

Badly need Bostwick and Bryant, as well. We need guys who can get to the QB at every position. Pierre came on late, but for the most part the entire line was a bunch of sloths.

Our run defense got a lot better once Porter and Pierre settled in late in the season.

Hopefully Raphael Kirby solidifies the middle.

I think Gaines should strictly be a jack-of-all-trades sub.
 
I also would like to see what Jacoby Briscoe can do, that's one big dude he definitely has the size to be a run stuffer.

Kirby is going to be a gat **** beast. Just needs to stay healthy.
 
Swasey needs to earn his keep this off-season. We SHOULD see some serious improvement in the trenches. If we don't it's time for some change in the weight room. (or roids)
