This p***k faded his *** into the wordwork pretty fast didnt he? Where are all the phone interviews NOW? He was so smug & condescending, chest all puffed-out like he "broke" an actual story.

I wonder if the reason he's so quiet now is he's just now beginning to realize he got "played" like a fiddle by 'lil Nevin? This guy bought everything, hook, line and sinker, and never corroborated (just like Emmert & the NCAA).

Another internet "journalist" bites the dust.

Funny how they're all on radio silence, or running for cover--And the midget (Donna) is on the offensive!

His sources were the people getting **** corroborated by a convicted felon stating allegations twice.

An organization that from all appearances was **** bent on crushing UM and exercised some very dubious standards of proof STILL could not corroborate Robinson's most sensationalistic accusations. Now, what's that say for his work?

Robinson has changed his tune quite a bit over the last couple months. Even as recently as the end of last year he was still mocking anyone who questioned his story and generally downplaying any pro-UM news. He was incredibly smug. Now he does nothing but tweet the barest of facts on our case.

I remember him being adamant that Dequan Jones' reinstatement last year meant nothing (wheres that $10000 payment in the NOA?). Unfortunately he probably gets lost in the shuffle of the COI decision but he shouls be getting grilled about his report

I remember this quote from Shalala's initial statement post NOA:

"Finally, we believe the NCAA was responsible for damaging leaks of unsubstantiated allegations over the course of the investigation."

I wonder if CR was a recipient of some of these leaks. I wonder if the use of the word "damaging" is not lawyerspeak for possible future lawsuits, possibly against Robinson and yahoo. He may be scared ishtless or playing it low key under advice of counsel.

Your are completely on-point um101. Other than Whitlock, no one in the press is even going after Robinson. It is as if the national media has simply decided to forget how all of the "facts" out there came to light. Remember, as bad as the NCAA has been on this investigation, very little of their findings have become public -- and the public's opinion continues to be based on Robinson's original article. Thank goodness Shalala called out some of the sensationalist aspects of Robinson's story.

I predict he blames the NCAA for ******** his story up and joins the party trying to tear down the NCAA.

The sad part is this BS, please go before the media and present all his sources and evidence. It was all BS from the beginning, his analysis of a receipt was the best thing I ever heard. A Boces Student knows more about evidence. He got in bed with Shapiro and hardly acknowledged this from the beginning, him at his boyfriend Wetzel can drop dead.

I still can't get over the purchase of Wilfork's used washer dryer. The whole Robinson story lacked any credible sources (never named them) or evidence. The whole part of DQJ was beyond terrible as he had no proof of this payment (hence DQJ was reinstated). Just like a rape accusation, DQJ's name will forever be tarnished because of Robinson.

Where are the aborted prostitute babies?.......

That isn't a violation if it was true. That is sensationalism. The NCAA doesn't have a bylaw that says whores (who may have been banged by student athletes) can't receive paid for abortions from midgets.

I posted the question in another thread and talked to some lawyer friends. If proven that the NCAA did so them along with Robindick can be sued for slander.

Shapiro corroborated allot of his allegations against Miami... but here is the kicker.. almost all of those were small stuff (free drinks, etc etc)

its really pretty so show a screen shot of a receipt, a phone text record and timestamp of a club receipt and 1000% corroborate a free drink! lol

but all the bigs stuff (pay for injuring another player, hookers, drugs, 1000's and 1000's of dollars in gifts.) nowhere to be found

The guy is an *** and took advantage of the gift Shapiro handed him. If Shapiro did not call him from prison because he needed funding for his legal fees, there would be NO story. This guy is back on the trash pile along with about 90% of the other "journalist" out there!

I seriously doubt there would ever be a slander suit by UM. Setting aside the legal issues and tactical impediments, I'd guess that the school wants and needs to put this whole mess in the rearview mirror as fast as possible.

Correct. Not the smartest thing to fight battles with Yahoo! (and their endless pockets) either.

he already did. after they announced they would be investigating themselves he tweeted out i had this story lined up on a platter and the NCAA screwed it up

Only way to get a slander or libel suit is if you could get a hold of recorded convos between Robinson and Shapiro. You have to prove intent to bring the defendant down. Shapiro has already admitted that much. I guess you'd have to prove the same for Robinson.

lets wait until this thing is over because as of right now what he wrote has gotten us a lack of inst control.
