I know we offered him and he has been on campus 1-2 times. At one point seemed to be a FSU then Georgia and now Auburn lean. We never seriously pushed for him and I am curious to why. Does anyone know the exact reason for it? I know we are expanding our LB and DB recruiting grounds to Georgia.

P.S. I know people are going to say SoFlo is heavy LB this cycle but that wasnt known til fairly recently as he has been on the national stage since his freshman year.

He never had serious interest in Miami

I believe he posted the highest SPARQ score in the testing's history a couple weeks ago. Whoever gets him is getting an absurd athlete. I hope it's Auburn.

I think he's overrated as a football player but he might be the best athlete in this class. I dont think he ever really considered us.

In my eyes if there's a legit shot at this kid you sure the **** better take it. He's a monster. As much as i love shaq & pick this is the type of kid weve been missing. I say that while i still believe pick is at least a finalist for some heavy trophies this year.

If SPARQ scores were indicative of talent then Byron Jones should be a pretty decent ball player, which he isn’t

Miami just isn't the spot for overachievers like the Mike Smiths, Andrew Chatfields of HS football. Those kids belong at the Louisvilles, WVU's, Wisconsins, and Nebraskas of the world.

I understand the staff trying to expand our footprint however how bout we secure the state of miami. Maybe we can stop hemorrhaging 5*s.

Staff did everything hey could the last 2 years to secure the state. Yet dudes still did what they did and you know the names and how bad it made the school look. Someone way smarter than anyone on this board said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
I said on an earlier post that sofla kids are not worried about some dude oos taking theire spot and they have used an offer from the U as a springboard for not only other offers but to start bidding wars. So if you act like Jobe don’t expect the staff to be all over your recruitment. It’s obvious the staff has said that the door is wide open to players and coaches to come check out practice the campus and talk to the staff. You have GA and Cali kids coming on visits but certain dudes within 100 miles don’t want to come even for a look. The staff has sent out offers to all of the locals that they want. If they don’t want to come or act flaky there are 49 other states we can go look for kids. Maybe some 5 star from another state might be flattered that we offer him knowing we have studs in our back yard. If some local kid or his coach or his handlers are butt hurt on the offers oos then walk your *** right in to Greentree commit and shut it down. Just think about this for a second, Mallory, Dallas, Jordan, Hightower, Lo, Perry, Jdub, Thomas, Willis, Johnson (transferred), Berrios, Cager and some others were not from the tri county area and we’re casting an even wider net from now on. So I’ll say it again win here with your brothers that you’ve known since you were a peewees or watch some kid from Cali, GA, PA, lift a trophy with the team that your family and friends grew up cheering for.
