Our "Targets"

New to the site guys, a current student at Miami. Can anyone provide a list of our current recruiting targets and our chances at all of them? It is hard to find a compiled list. Thanks a lot. Go Canes :neonu:

I'm the first one to admit that I don't follow recruiting as much as I'd like, but am starting to get into it. While I know Olsen, the Bosco Kid, Burns, etc are our big guys, I see a lot of people optimistic on our recruiting class here, despite ESPN/Rivals/etc not rating our class high. Is there a reason why? I understand we will have a smaller class this year however, due to lack of SRs and preparing for sanctions

How'd you find this site, but weren't able to find the recruiting tab at the top?
 
Our class rating is based on current commits so the low number affects it. However, a lot of folks are excited about the potential of bringing in a number of 4 or 5 star prospects by Feb.

he is a 2 star that is why when you look at the ESPN's rival's ..ect we aren't ranked high
/and we don't have many commits yet cause it is all just quantity and numbers
 
Because regardless of rankings, if we hit the majority of out targets, we will have upgraded talent, filled needs, perfectly complimented the 2012 class while keeping the top talent home and winning some recruiting battles on some premier national recruits all at the same. dam. time.

These next couple weeks will be a roller coaster and honestly if I could do it again I would avoid recruiting like the plague but if this comes to pass feb.6 is going to be freaking glorious. You've been warned.

Right now we have only 11(?) commits so our class isn't going be ranked high but if we finish strong with the last 6-7 spots then it will be a top 10-15 class easily.
 
Thanks guys. I'm really hoping Bryant comes, while I don't follow recruiting intensely I know the main guys we've been after. Our DT's have really been a huge problem, and our DE's even also. We haven't gotten much pressure on the opposing qb. Our defense on a hole is really worrisome, but with a year, Deon, Tracy, etc. should emerge. Our offense is set, very happy there, only thing that scares me is our RB2. I think Mike James is a much bigger loss then people realize. He had a very good year and our RB depth is almost non-existant currently.
 
Honestly I'm NOT a fan of star systems. The same star systems that had JOHNNY MANZIEL as a 3 Star coming out of high school.
