So apparently some OU player has courtside seats to OKC games because of his girlfriend. Yes he caught some people's attention, but all they had to do was sign an affidavit to prove the relationship was real.

Why was the Ray Ray situation not handled similarly with the Prime 112 dinner with his girlfriend? I know we were in the middle of the investigation, but it seems that it could have been sidestepped with a simple affidavit. Thoughts?

Wasn't Ray Ray's girl an agent, or worked for an agent? I'm guessing that complicates things. Either way **** the NCAA

He had to swear she was really his girlfriend? As opposed to that ND dude swearing his girlfriend was real.

Didn't Ray Ray lie about the whole situation?

I don't think he had the opportunity to lie.

I think he had just came off a suspension and when reports surfaced he was having dinner with an agent he was basically suspended immediately. I'm not 100% sure about this, but that's what my fuzzy memory remembers.

Her and Ray Ray broke up right after he left the team. She is now engaged to Alshon Jeffery (Chicago Bears wide receiver).

It should be none of the NCAA's ******* business who these kids date.

I predict this buffonery of a rule will be handled by Emmert once it becomes a running joke like the "Food plan" saga was. This is one of those rules that sorely needs to be updated.
