Too many BJshots the night before, Jarren could really put them down
Williams deserves most of the blame for that debacle of a game. After that, some combo of Enos/Diaz for leaving Williams in the game long enough to lose the game.
and now the fallout begins
It was only 7-0 when Jarren was benched. Let’s blame the defense too allowing va tech to have 6 redzone trips giving up 6 tds on each of those possessions.. that’s fcs level sh*t. How about let’s force them for field goals on some of those drives
Jarren threw 3 interceptions while in the game. I frankly don't remember how many minutes he played in which he threw those 3 interceptions, but it doesn't matter. In addition, UM out gained Vtech 563-337. for a team to score 42 points on only 337 yards of offense means that the team benefitted from a lot of short fields. you can make an argument about the defense not holding Vtech to filed goals, but the position our defense was in that game was next to impossible. And a turnover is demoralizing for an entire team. Add to that a short field, and Williams cost us the game with the interceptions. And if he was hurt then the blame for leaving him in to throw 3 interceptions falls back on the coach(es)
