Officials made 'incorrect adjudication' in Duke-Virginia game

After an official review, however, they overturned the foul call, saying it came after the buzzer and the game went to overtime, where Virginia pulled away for a 69-62 win.

The ACC said the officials got it wrong.

"The play should have resulted in two free throws for Duke," the league said in a statement, citing Rule 5, Section 7, Article 3c of the NCAA Rule Book.

They blew it and normally would not care but we needed the UVA loss.

I thought it was pretty obvious as well and the explanation provided on TV did not make sense.

Does that call go against Coach K? That weasel would have chewed the officials faces off.

Did not cost us squat. Regular season matters for seating and whether or not you get an at-large bid. Win the tournament and you win the conference.
?
A school that has one outright basketball conference championship and you don’t feel like winning it matters?

Super weird take. I want to win anything we have an opportunity to win.

Watch the tape from the start. The UVa timekeeper started the clock running on the pass and not on the first touch by a player in bounds. If the clock had been properly started there would have been no doubt.......................Home cooking in the the ACC!
