That is interesting. Be wonderful if it works. But it could have its dangers. There are diseases that cause an over active immune system and they are deadly. It those cases, the immune system gets triggered and goes on a rampage attacking your body--joints, organs and such. I have no idea if this sort of vaccine could ever act that way. Lets hope not. Kudos to UM Med. Once again, IT IS ALL ABOUT THE U.

Implications for this research are really far reaching. The social impact and economic impact could not be easily overstated. Congrats to UM and prayers for success.

Tens of millions of Africans say, "who the **** is Magic Johnson?"

Pretty incredible team of researchers. Instead of trying to cure the disease, they flip the switch and stimulate weakened immune systems and allow the immune system to kill the virus.

Looks like UM is going to have a Nobel recipient soon.

Reminds me of the South Park episode on AIDS where the discover the cure is just straight money....and everyone is thrilled until they realize nobody in Africa has money
