Biggest mistake the Germans ever made.
Almost as big a mistake as hiring Gaddis . . .

Did the Japanese go and sit down and have dinner with Pearl Harbor before they bombed 'em?
Terrible tragedy, my grandfather was in the Navy during WWII, and I will never forget about the way he spoke about Pearl Harbor.

Unless that eagle is nesting on a pine tree of a proposed suburban residential development site... then... le veo muy mal.
Mess with the get the talons.
There is a theory with some legs that Roosevelt saw it coming and did nothing to elicit the max outrage from the American people who until that point were set against entering the war and losing American lives. He knew to change their minds there had to be a first strike against the US.
He sent tons of supplies to Britain just egging the Germans to sink some of the ships. He then cut off 90% of Japans oil via embargo and had the pacific fleet stationed in Pearl Harbor instead of SF where it could be a tempting target.
Also, the atomic bombs didn’t end the war against Japan and tens of thousands of additional civilian lives were lost just so we could intimidate the soviets.
