Saw on Herald web site that Lunardi has Miami playing in Pittsburgh versus Providence. That is Coach L's alma mater, at which he had a very good collegiate career. He had 1,253 points, led the team in scoring sophomore and junior years and was captain his senior year. drafted by the Pistons, he chose coaching instead/ In order to pass the time until the tournament, I was wondering which current college coaches had the best collegiate careers. My first nominee is Steve Alford who played at Indiana. I don't remember Avery Johhnson's career. Then there is Danny Manning, he is probably at the top of such a list.

Of course I forgot Patrick Ewing and Chris Mullins
