OT as it's about Schiano and Rutgers' recruiting in Canada, but I would like to see us get some of the big guys from up there.

Rutgers finds football recruiting success in Canada

A whopping seven Canadians are playing NCAA major-conference football at Rutgers this year. Rutgers coach Greg Schiano loves what he's seeing from Canada and figures there's much more talent to come, writes Mike Koreen.

We have 3 canadians on the team currently.

We recruited a canadian dt thats at miami central in this class but aint land him.


The lucman brothers that committed to Rutgers played 3 years in dade county so whatever development they have is to south florida.

I remember Art Kehoe always had a link/connect up there in Canada and im sure thats why Schiano still looks that way..It appears Mario does a little bit as well.

They do have some players to supplement would be best to identify them and move them to a prep school or get them playing in south florida or an img type program.

Im i agreement though maybe should offer one or two guys from up that way a year. They fit in to the s.fla culture ab but

Realistically, recruit OL/DL and WR/DB types from Quebec, they have their own juco, and the high-school football there is probably the best in Canada. But the talent in Ontario is really good for athletes in southern Ontario too
