Saw that he is committing somewhere on Sunday evening. I doubt it will be us and it's prolly not a good sign for McFarland, but I know Pete said they are not a package deal. Still wont help our chances.

I said it a few months ago:

I thought the longer Mac lingers out there, the less chances he commits to Miami. I felt good for a while, but then Maryland came out and Bama started pushing. At the end of the day, I think he got scared of moving away.

I wouldn't be surprised if he stayed home as a Maryland hero.
 
I can accept kids staying home. Maryland used to be competitive back in the 80's. They are a one horse state so if they can keep kids home they be decent again.

will never blame a kid for staying home. We still need another tackle. And it looks like we are fading with Mac? Maybe? We need two backs.

Working to flip Telfort, and as far as RB is concerned, we are still after McFarland, Felix and Malik Davis is Plan C

I like focus on Telfort and Slaton. Also hope we stop messing around and get Darrian Felix, bigger and faster than McFarland. I like my SoFl boys better, all things being equal.

I wonder if Kevin Plank has setup a similar career guarantee for Maryland kids that Ol Phil Knight had going at Nike? Plenty of former Oregon athletes walking around the Nike campus as "executives".

Don't think Felix is SoFl (Dade, Broward, Palm Beach). He'd be a great pickup nonetheless.

Not bigger than mcfarland but slightly faster. At the opening felix was 5'10 like 188 and ran a 4.48. Mcfarland was 5'8 203 and ran a 4.52.
 
McFarland will stay at Md now . Watch we have a very slim chance to land him now. I say we make it difficult on the gators with lemons

I think the only way we could get Lemons is if we straight up dropped off a bag for him, which I'm not against at all, but the staff wouldn't do that.
But, I definitely would like for us to try to flip both him & Telfort.
