OT: How did FIU land two 4 star JUCOs?

Very simple explanation about cadre and botch groupies that post here. They have wanted the ole man to coach here since he was fired by Browns. He was never rehired by us and the botch groupies will never forgive Cane decision makers for not hiring him. We did not want him and no power 5 school wanted him since Browns firing. Hr had only one option and that was coaching at lousy fiu. Fiu and fau were in similar position before botch and Kiffin hired. Fau whipped botch in this years face to face game. Fau has a better record this year than fiu. I am confident that as long as Botch and Kiffin are at fiu and fau, Kiffin will have a better record. That fact demonstrates to me that your love for botch has no merit.

I never heard an adequate explanation from the vocal pro-Butch groupies for how it was possible that a coach who built one of the best teams in college football history could not land another gig ANYWHERE after he was canned by UNC. No school, big or small, would touch him. Other coaches with bad reps like Kiffin and Petrino had no issues with finding other jobs, but Butch, who had more college HC success than either was poison. That, to me, was the biggest reason why I was not for a Butch Davis return to UM. Again, the architect of the best team, with NFL and college football HC experience, was out of work for six plus years and in the end only managed to get a job at one of the worst D1 college football programs in the US. Something in his background was radioactive and I didn't want him bringing that to Miami, especially after the Shapiro fallout.

He's somehow ended up on top of the CUSA recruiting rankings by a country mile. At FIU. Amazing.

Butch Davis is a football GOD!

The insight is that Butch is the best in the game with DTs. And he does well with just about all the other positions, too.

Not quite as well with QBs, but he'll get some high quality undiscovered talent at FIU. And FIU will definitely be putting some of them into the NFL, too.

So I was looking at team rankings to poke fun at FSU - realized they're only two sports ahead of FIU in recruiting ranking. Anyways, I'm not implying UM should've recruited these two guys because I didn't even look at their highlights.

FIU signed JUCO Teair Tart-Spencer who was recruited by Bama and Tayland Humphrey 4 Star JUCO DT (he was posted on about here).

Anyone have any insight on their recruiting? Are they any good? How did FIU land them?

And please once again, I'm not making any comparison to our DT recruiting nor implying we should have gone after these guys.
Thanks in advance.
