OT: Coach Jorge Baez tonight

Yeah the only negative I see with this, is every time the staff posts something like this it’s because we feel we are losing or not getting someone

I interpreted it a little differently - I see it as a shot at kids who committed elsewhere and signed elsewhere that are already in college. Maybe some of these kids have asked abuot transferring.

It could be both or neither. A message one way or another is being sent.

Perspective is everything but this tweet sounds insecure to me. All the kids who aren’t here want to be here? Even he doesn’t believe that nonsense.

Or it could just be a message he is sending out preemptively to one of our targets that have OOS schools among their top choices. A sort of "Think about this" type of message that they want a kid to consider before he makes his choice.

I interpreted the second tweet to refer to practice tonight. Sevice = practice

Also thought the first could be about McIntosh. Just looked through the Oklahoma 247 threads to see if anything was up about the recruits this weekend. They appear to have gotten a commitment from a kid who went with his father. It's being kept quiet per the family- the mod writing the story said it was the weirdest conversation he had with a recruit but he had to respect the request for discretion. McIntosh, John Dunmore and some other kid were the only OVs.

It might or might not be towards any specific target but it’s defijitely towards recruits. Personally I think it’s a sales tactic sort of warning them about not coming here. I think he was just walking around saw that the sight was beautiful and said fuggit let me subtweet some recruits lol

Don’t think it’s about MAR or Mcintosh because both of there brothers have been or are “here”. They know about the U and he wouldn’t call them liars. If he’s sending a message to a recruit, it’s one who is getting their info from a hustler, I mean handler or one who is getting sold on going to another school by a couple of sellout DBs who choose to go there instead of here.

Wonder if coaches get the “hey big head” texts from kids in the middle of their freshman year. Basically saying I hate this place you were right and I should’ve signed there.

If he does, I hope he responds with a very simple “I don’t know who the fvck you are, lose my number”
