Maybe Richt is mad that he didnt want to come from the beginning and is salty so he is ignoring him

Richt absolutely has to take if him if he can. You can’t take that hard stance on a player this talented with his type of situation .....
It worked out for us with greg Olsen who was a 5 star that signed with Notre Dame over Miami who left within a year of being in a program because it wasn’t for him. Let this guy come to Miami, he’s an elite talent period...

I've come around to the idea of taking Grimes. While i was against it at first, and I have no problem playing the "join us or die" game with the McKitty's of the world, Grimes is a game changing talent when healthy. It would be like turning away a Dalvin Cook if he wanted to come home.

Yup. Olsen is a perfect example. Add on that for Grimes there is an additional factor. He has legitimate family reasons for wanting/needing to be in South Florida. If the kid really wants to transfer her, Richt not only loses out on an elite talent, he also looks like a heartless *******.

He'd potentially be a one and done player. He'd sit next year (while destroying our DB's on the scout team), then dominate in '19 and be gone.
Nothing wrong with that. You lose nothing besides a roster spot and gain a whole lot.
